Born and raised in the small country of Guatemala, Nicolás found his passion for music at the age of 11 starting with piano lessons, as his careers developed, he shared stage with the best national bands of his country such as Viento en Contra and with the best international artist such as Luis Enrique. He currently studies arranging and production in one of the most prestigious music universities in the world: Berklee College of Music. 

At Berklee, Nicolás stands out among his peers as an exceptional songwriter, proof of this is the independent production of his own EP album Que Los Mares No Se Enteren.  This is album focuses on lyrical richness, organic elements with synthesizers, sweet and catchy melodies besides a hybrid of Guatemalan identity with the use of marimba on his single Perdiendo La Calma.

The first singles of this album have captured the attention of the public, placing Nicolás at the No.1 on iTunes Charts Guatemala and on the Top Ten’s of the most prestigious radio stations of the country. His second single que los mares no se enteren  was recognized by bmi (broadcast music inc.) and peermusic latin foundation as the best latin pop song of the year.
